Rosie and I had the best time shooting Samantha and Louis’s wedding at Galway Downs. It was such a beautiful day in January with perfect weather—not too cold, not too hot. Rosie hung out with Loius and the groomsmen in the morning. They were all having a great time, joking around and getting ready.
I was with Samantha and her bridesmaids. The vibe was so fun and energetic. The girls were helping Samantha with her dress and chatting about all kinds of things. You could feel the love and excitement in the room. Samantha looked stunning, and one could see how much her bridesmaids adored her.
They decided to do a “first look” before the ceremony. I love such moments because they’re so personal. We found a quiet spot under this big eucalyptus tree. When Louis turned around and saw Samantha, his face just lit up. He looked like he might cry, but he was holding it together. They hugged, laughed, and just took a few minutes to themselves. It was such a genuine and emotional moment—just the two of them, soaking it all in.
After that, we did some family and bridal portraits. Everyone looked so happy and relaxed. The light was perfect, and we got some amazing shots of Samantha and Louis with their Families. It was great to see everyone so happy for them.
The wedding ceremony was right there under that beautiful eucalyptus tree. The weather couldn’t have been better—it was sunny with a light breeze. Samantha walked down the aisle, and you could see the joy in her eyes. Louis couldn’t stop smiling either. The ceremony was simple but so heartfelt. You could really feel the love between them. Their vows were sweet and honest, and there were a few tears from the guests.
After the ceremony, it was time for celebrations! Everyone moved to the reception area. There were flowers everywhere, and the tables were set up so nicely. Samantha and Louis shared their first dance, and everyone cheered. Then, everyone joined in, and it turned into a big, fun party. It was clear everyone was having a blast.
Galway Downs is one of the best spots for a wedding in Temecula. It’s got this great mix of natural beauty with big open spaces and trees. Plus, it feels super welcoming. It was the perfect choice for Samantha and Louis.
