Temecula Maternity Photographer
Maternity photos are always my favorite. I love hearing about how excited both mom and dad are to welcome their little creation into this world. This year has been so touching since Rosie and I are expecting a baby girl later this fall. The experience of waiting for your child really tests ones strength and endurance. So much has to be prepared for and you never know what to expect once you hold your child in your arms and gaze into their innocence. Don’t even get me started on the lack of sleep! It makes me so happy to see growing families and documenting their progress.
Julie and Jonathan heard about me from her friend Andrea, who also hired me to photograph her wedding. They loved the engagement photos I took of Andrea and Ryan and reached out to me about booking a maternity photo session. We set the date in late spring and we bounced back ideas about wardrobe and location. Julie and Jonathan left it up to me to choose a location. Once I heard she was going to wear a red dress, I knew I had to pick somewhere green and/or golden to compliment the wardrobe. I also loved how Jonathan went with lighter colors as opposed to dark slacks or a pattern shirt.
We started the photo session at Ponte Winery and meandered aroud the property to some breathtaking spots by the pond and vineyard. I could have spent the whole session there but I had another spot I wanted to try out. I spotted it on a road I take all the time and never noticed there was a small dirt road that had a golden field behind it. Needless to say, the session ended perfectly with the warm setting sun and a light breeze.
