I’m Nick, your photographer/wedding appetizer critic
I’m the photographer who’d show up to your wedding, charm your grandma, indulge in your dessert table, hop in the middle of the dance floor if the music is a vibe, and be your personal guide to looking spectacular on your wedding day.
While weddings keep me busy, I moonlight with portraits, products, and resorts. Just about anything that I can tell a story with. I’m at the stage in my life where I’m not afraid to look ridiculous to get that shot.
I’m a family man, sharing life’s chaos and comedy with my beautiful wife Rosie and three lively kids. My hobbies include sizzling in the CA sun, drinking fresh coconuts, lifting any form of weights, and reliving my childhood with my kids.
My approach to photography? Think Jerry Seinfeld meets Ansel Adams—observational, sharp, and capturing everything, even the nothing. I stay true to color and use a “timeless” look so that your memories have a nostalgic feel in a ever changing world. I’m a 1990s model—vintage, yet surprisingly reliable.
Some of my favorite moments in my career is getting to connect with couples over a drink and knowing the people who I will be celebrating the most momentous day of their lives.

Upon seeing your inquiry, I’ll review my calendar to check your wedding date. Some months fill up faster than others.
Based upon the info you provided, I will send over a proposal with a collection that fits what you are looking for. Be up front with what you want to spend. I’m Colombian, ready to makes deals at any moment.
I like to schedule a quick call to answer any questions and figure out if we make a great fit.
Once you’re ready to book, a retainer is required to lock in your date. Typically its 30-50% of the total depending on package booked.

01. Book your engagement session; It’s free! I always gift a free 45min Temecula Sunset Engagement session. It give us a chance to get to know each other more and gives you an excuse to come to wine country, sip on some vino and get your pictures done in under an hour (you’re welcome bro). Fun, painless, and romantic AF. I also offer full engagement sessions from 60-90 minutes anywhere in SoCal starting at $599 with multiple wardrobes and locations.
02. Posing 101: Posing is a dilemma every photographer faces. Every couples is so different. Which is why posing will be different for everyone. I tend to go for the softer poses for portraits, and get creative when it comes to candid and action shots. You can expect me to be very vocal while posing you both, as well as larger family groups. I’ll make small adjustments as needed and be efficient to keep you on your timeline. I’ll direct posture, hand and foot placement along with avoiding the dreaded double chin. I’ve photographed thousands of people, I got you.
03. Keep me in the loop: As your wedding approaches, I will go over your timeline and offer any advice to make sure we can fit everything in for you. Typically I’ll schedule a call when you have the rough timeline from your coordinator and DJ. If you have a wedding coordinator like my wife Rosie, they will be in touch with me to keep me updated on your wedding day.
04. It’s go time! Your wedding day is of the most importance to me. I’ll be ready to go even with back up gear because you can never be to safe. I like to start out the day by photographing the dress, shoes and any other layflat details. Then go into first look (if planning) then prep for ceremony. I’ll always be checking in with the DJ and planner to make sure we are all working together efficiently. I’ll float around like a guest at your reception and make everyone look like rockstars in your final gallery. Most couples have me depart about 30 mins into dancing to ensure all the festivities are captured.
05. It’s over – now what? After your wedding, I usually drive home in silence to decompress from the eventful day. When I close my eyes to fall asleep, I feel like I’m in a 70’s from the flashing lights and loud music. Life is good. The following weekday I’ll back up and review all your photos and send them out to Dmytro, my editor/retouching guru. We’ll have a preview gallery ready within a week and your final gallery ready in about 4-6 weeks depending on peak seasons. Once Dmytro has finished the photos, I’ll review them and upload to the gallery for final delivery. Our couples normally get anywhere from 600-900 photos from a 6-8hr wedding.
06. Preserving the memory: You can rest easy knowing that all your photos are backed up on our gallery site. However we highly recommend looking into a layflat photo album to display for generations to come. Our albums are handcrafted in Portugal and come with a protective wooden display box to keep out moisture and other elements. Our albums go up to 100 pages (50 spreads) and 14″x14″ in sizes. The paper is thick stock and glows when you look at it under natural light. “Yada yada yada,” all our couples love them. You can also order photo prints directly from the online gallery. It’s a huge hit with mom’s and grandma’s!

The Californian is for the local SoCal couples who needs a simple approach to photography. It’s perfect for any SoCal venue timeline (ex: 4-9pm), with the option to add a second cameraman if needed. This is our most popular collection!

03. My Big Fat “Greek” Wedding:
We love cultural wedding celebrations! We have had experience with Indian, Afghan, Jewish, Mexican, Greek, Polynesian and so many more! Some require multiple days of coverage and a more customized approach.

What sets you apart from other wedding photographers?
Over the years, one common thing I have provided my couples with is peace of mind and comfort knowing that I know what I’m doing when it comes to getting gorgeous photos of anything you throw at me. With my 10+ years in the industry I can anticipate a lot of your concerns and guide you every step of the way. Our edits are classic and the poses I guide you in are soft and flattering. The rest is my pure creative joy to capture. Even after 10yrs doing this, I still find joy in capturing memories and making some of my own.
We are super awkward in front of the camera, how do you handle those scenarios?
I would say 99% of our couples have never been professionally photographed since their high school portrait. Not to worry. In my 10+ years experience with thousands of people, I am able to make anyone feel comfortable and capture a flattering portrait. When I get photographed, I also appreciate when the cameraman asks you to make slight adjustments. That way you have some variety to choose from.
What kind of gear do you use? Do you have backups?
We are huge Sony fans. The picture is crisp and colors are easy to play around with when we edit them. I always bring back up cameras, batteries, memory cards and a snack because I turn into a diva if I don’t eat. I’ll use a variety of lenses for different effects and when it gets too dark I use an on camera flash to light up the area. My gear footprint is very small. I like to travel light to make sure I can fully focus on the moment I am documenting. We use Adobe creative suite to edit all our photos and calibrate the colors for true tones when it comes to printing your memories.
How do we book you?
In the words of Ron Burgundy, “I’m kind of big deal.” Dates run out quickly especially from May-October. After we have our consultation and ready to book, I will send over a proposal with a contract. Typically our retainer amount to reserve your date ranges from 30-50% of the total package price. Once you’re in the calendar, we can schedule your engagement session and keep in touch as your date approaches.
