Top Outdoor Wedding Venues for a perfect summer wedding
California has some of the most beautiful weather on the West Coast. The moderate weather begins in April with it getting slightly chilly at sunset around the end of October.If you want to have a gorgeous outdoor wedding, I would suggest planning it from April-October to avoid freezing evenings or seasonal rain (which has been more than usual lately) After shooting in Temecula for over 7 years, I have compiled a list of my favorite outdoor venues in wine country.
1. Mount Palomar Winery
There is a reason Mount Palomar Winery is at the top of my list. Their reception area is absolutely stunning to watch the sunset and enjoy the night stars. The market lighting and columns make for a romantic feel. The area is mostly paved with some grassy areas with plenty of photo locations nearby. The best part is that the reception area is completely separate from the winery and its visitors. Check out their website here!
2. South Coast Winery
This wine resort boasts open spaces, hotel villas, a salt water pool, and high end spa. If there is one thing South Coast is known for is its ability to accommodate large events and execute them with precision. Their staff is always on their A game. Their reception lawn in privately located right outside of a barrel room and has plenty of space for your guests and tables to fit. A summer wedding here will not disappoint. 3. Peltzer Winery
Some of my favorite weddings have taken place at this winery. Growing up in Wyoming, I was around the whole rustic farm vibe. Whenever I’m here it brings back a nostalgia of rich colors, smell of leather, and country music playlists. The outdoor reception area is covered by a canopy of trees and is the perfect spot for a warm summer evening. Check out their website here.
4. Lorimar Winery
Lorimar winery is quickly becoming a new favorite venue of mine. Their property has so many hidden spots to get some amazing photos! Plus their reception site is so romantic. Nestled in the vineyards and far away from the crowds, the reception area is perfect for an outdoor wedding. You can even sneak away for a few sunset shots in the orchards too. 5. Lake Oak Meadows
And finally, Lake Oak Meadows. This wedding powerhouse is one of the most booked venues in Temecula. It has a lake, vineyards, and a gardens everywhere you turn. The reception area is covered with towering trees and lit with market lighting during the evening. This venue exclusively hosts weddings so you and your guests will be the only ones on the property.
