Megan and Richard messaged me a few weeks after we photographed her cousin’s wedding in Temecula early 2019. She loved her cousin’s photos and the emotion of the film so much that after a few email exchanges, she booked me as her wedding photographer and videographer at the InterContinental San Diego.
Being southern Californians, they shared a loved for the beach…. Especially this one. It was here they met up between their college campuses which were in LA and San Diego.
We parked off the PCH Hwy and walked down some stairs to a beautiful stretch of sand and emerald blue water.
Their first wardrobe was on the more casual side while their second wardrobe was more formal. Luckily there was a porter pottie to change in (if you’re brave enough).
The shoot lasted about 2.5 hours with us finishing up right when the sun hit the horizon.
I loved how Megan and Richard were adventurous enough to brave the cold water, pointy rocks, and willing to get a little wet. Their passion and natural connection with each other made for some breathtaking photos.
