Although the summer heat was on, Megan and Brandon fully enjoyed their wedding with their closest family and friends.

Megan reached out to me in early June of 2020, an uncertain time to plan a summer 2020 wedding. They were determined to wed on that day even if their venue shutdown (which they almost did) and move the reception to another location. I remember speaking on the phone with both Megan and her mother to discuss so many options about how the day was going to go. Thank God that Galway downs permitted the reception given it was outdoors and under a certain guest count, which was doable.

This wedding was the second one I worked since the shutdown. It was glorious to be doing what I love and most importantly seeing my couple and their family celebrate and enjoy each other’s company.

I had my good friend Allie from Allie Marion Photography be my second photographer that day. Needless to say we were both blown away by the images we captured and the memories we were able to create for Megan and Brandon.

Megan and Brandon had a first look under the large oak trees near the water and it definitely calmed their nerves before the ceremony.

Their dog Frank also made an appearance at the ceremony and during their sunset portraits.

We had plenty of time to visit different spots for photos and still get them back to enjoy the rest of the evening with their family.

The reception was family style seating with some musical performances from Megan’s best friend who happens to be in the London Choir.
