My Favorite Temecula Wedding Venues

After photographing weddings in Temecula for over 8 years, I have developed a close relationship with many venues in the valley. My favorite wedding venues are those that offer stunning photo locations, perfect reception lighting, and overall atmosphere for the perfect evening wedding. When speaking with my couples after their wedding, I hear the most success stories from these venues. Here are my favorite wedding venues in Temecula.

1. Peltzer Family Cellars

Peltzer Cellars is our absolute favorite venue in Temecula Winery Country. They have so many photo opportunities with all the vintage machinery, textured backdrops, and industrial crush house. All of our couples who book at Peltzers are super laid back, want to party, and focus on the bigger picture on their wedding day. Since we’ve shot at this venue over a dozen times, we have our favorite spots to take our couples to depending on the timeline and accessibility.

The venue offers a stylish bridal suite overlooking the entire property and a pretty rad airstream (with A/C) for the guys to hang out in. The coordinator will always offer to drive us around in their cart during sunset to grab some golden hour photos. Couples who have booked with Peltzer are able to use the grounds for their engagement photos as well. If you love country music, wine, and don’t mind some dust on your boots, Peltzer Cellars is the perfect fit for your wedding. Check them out here!

2.Lorimar Winery

Lorimar Winery is located right off the round about when driving on Rancho California Rd. The venue offers a separate area amongst the orange groves and vineyards with a barrel room. The ceremony usually takes place near the main winery. The reception area near the barrel room is the perfect place for an outdoor summer wedding. You catch every last ray of sunlight and then the market lighting sets the mood for the evening.

The venue does offer onsite bridal and groom suites located near ceremony site. The catering is great and staff is very efficient in making your day go as smooth as possible.

Our favorite area to venture into are the orange groves. Sometimes the vines are not fully grown in so having a green backdrop that represents California is very useful. Check out more info here to inquire.

3. Morgan Estate

Morgan Estate has one of the highest views I have seen of rolling vineyards. The Southern Inspired home is a perfect setting for a hilltop wedding. The venue has both a bridal and grooms suite and allows for a more tailored event since it’s a private estate.

The reception site is one of the best features. The large tiled and covered area is perfect in the event of inclement weather. The market lighting, fire pits, and panoramic sunset views makes this venue a true gem.

If you prefer more privacy and an elegant setting for an outdoor wedding, Morgan Estate is perfect. Check out their wedding info here.

4. South Coast Winery

This full fledge wine resort boasts open spaces, hotel villas, a salt water pool, and high end spa. If there is one thing South Coast is known for is its ability to accommodate large events and execute them with precision. Their staff is always on their A game. Their reception area in privately located right outside of a ballroom and has plenty of space for your guests and tables to fit. A summer wedding here will not disappoint! I would recommend booking a few extra days to unwind after your wedding festivities. Check out their website here.

5. Mount Palomar Winery

Mount Palomar Winery is a hidden gem in Temecula Wine Country. They are conspicuously located atop a hill and have a sprawling property with gorgeous landscaping. Their reception area is absolutely stunning to watch the sunset and enjoy the night stars. The market lighting and columns make for a romantic feel. The area is mostly paved with some grassy areas with plenty of photo locations nearby. The best part is that the reception area is completely separate from the winery and its visitors. The barrel room is also a great option when planning for off season weddings when it’s a chilly out. Check out their website here!

6. Leoness Cellars

We have a very special connection with Leoness Cellars. We owe them a huge thanks for filling our 2021 and 2022 schedule with amazing couples! We have been shooting at Leoness Cellars since 2016 and absolutely love it. The best time for weddings at this venue is March-June and September-November. Their ceremony site overlooks the vineyards in a nicely secluded ceremony garden. Down the hill is their large barrel room and cocktail hour patio with fire pits.

The barrel room is great for large groups of over 100 people and looks spectacular when lit up with decorative lighting. One of our favorite parts about this venue is their sunsets during golden hour. Their vineyards is picture perfect and always exceeds our expectations. Check out more about them here.
